To cover or not to cover.... That is the question. The sun is the most damaging force against your inflatable boat. Keeping a cover on it is a great defense. However, keeping your boat covered for long periods of time in hot, humid climates can be just as bad. By leaving your cover on for months at a time, you are not letting the moisture escape and the mold spores bake off. Mold can be very destructive to you tubes by leaving a crater like surface behind once you clean it. The best policy is to uncover the boat for a day or two once a month in the warm humid months.
